the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative.
Happy Wednesday Beauties!! Anyone else as happy as I am that it’s already the middle of the week? Slowly but surely this week has crept along. Well, today we are talking inspiration (throws hands in air). Sometimes we get in a rut trying to do this on our own.
As we can see from the definition above, inspiration creates creativity. Being inspired by someone allows you to take what you see, and make it your own. At times we call it “inspiration”, but end up being a copycat. Am I the only that has been “inspired” only to copy the exact thing/person that inspired me? Finding out that it just wasn’t for me. I can’t be the only one!! We have to know it’s ok to be inspired by others!
Though I feel like a late comer to this fashion game, I know I’m where I’m supposed to be at this time. When I first started the journey of Instablogging, there were so many accounts that I came across that made me want to go crawl back under my rock. I told myself there was no way I could compare to these people. Beautiful pictures, and styles out of this world. But there was a particular account, Venus (@iamvmil) of Pinkk Lip Stick, that I really loved. I love Venus’ account, because her style is similar to that which represents me. Her style is that of feminine streetstyle.

Venus is an awesome Beauty and Fashion blogger. She has the ability to put pieces together that look so effortlessly, but yet so chic. So, when I spotted this particular look, I was like this is so me. Not knowing at the time, I did buy the same shirt (lol) copycat.
I’m always interested in where others find their inspiration. So, drop a comment below letting me know.
Until next time

Haha @ copycat! I love these flares. I need to get more in my closet.
I get inspiration from everywhere. My style is driven by color and patterns, not necessarily the pieces. So anywhere I can get that, such as magazines, interior design stores, even paint stores. I love looking at different color palettes/schemes. I watch certain TV shows just to see the outfits.
